Make & Take Christmas Holiday Party

Everyone’s invited to make your own sculpture, gifts, ornaments, cards or write letters to Santa on Saturday, Dec. 10 from 1-5 p.m. at the ideaXfactory Make & Take Christmas Holiday Party during the Second Saturday with Art Walk in Downtown Springfield.

We have all kinds of fun and cool stuff donated by artists to create with — recycled pastic, wood scraps, foam, jewelry, beads, glitter (be careful with that stuff!), paper, cardboard, and much more.

We have basic hand tools, paint & brushes (take the spray paint outside please!), markers, and glue guns to work with. Like to knit or crochet? We’ve got oddles of yarn and will set up a yarnbomb station and card-making station.

If you’re going to the Downtown Springfield Christmas parade at 2 p.m. that that day, stop by before or afterwards, and we’ll have cookies and hot chocolate to warm you up!
