Join us for a reception for the first group exhibition Missouri State University MFAs on Friday, April 8, 2016 from 6-9 p.m.
Mixed media collage by Carla Stine, video by Judge Bockman, ceramic sculpture by Tawn Dickison, digital imagery by Emily Budd, illustration by Maria Gerasimchuk-Djordjevic, charcoal and ink drawings by Shen Hsieh, graphic design by My Que Luu, and mixed media installation by Todd Reynolds come together in “The First Untitled” by the MSU MFA Graduate Students of Visual Studies.
We will also have an outdoor exhibition “Juxtaposition” along the Brick City south parking lot retaining wall. MSU 3D Design students are constructing large wood sculptures using geometric lumber in contrast with the natural wood forms of sticks, limbs, and branches and MSU students, graduates, and faculty are painting large outdoor murals.
The exhibitions will also be open during First Friday Art Walk on Friday, April 1, 2016, 6-10 p.m.
The events are free and open to the public.
