Artist Talk by Dr. Alec Shepley on May 1st, 6 p.m.

Dr. Alec Shepley, artist and head of School of Art and Design, University of Lincoln, United Kingdom, will give a community artist talk titled “The Creative Potential of the Fragment” at the ideaXfactory on Thursday, May 1st at 6 p.m.

Alec’s current research and artistic practice explores urban spaces, the presentation of fragmented work and notions of the unfinished project. He is visiting Springfield at the invitation of Drury University Department of Art & Art History who is sponsoring the talk with the ideaXfactory.

The event is free and open to the public.
